dream work
Carl Jung, Swiss physician and pioneer of analytic psychology, wrote that a dream is "a little hidden door in the innermost and most secret recesses of the soul." Cultivating a conscious, intentional relationship with our dreams can bring deeper understandings of ourselves and of our relationships to the Divine and to those around us. All dreams come to us in service to our Highest Self and can help us on our path towards growth, healing, and wholeness.
Dream-Work can take place in the context of focused, private Transpersonal Coaching for those seeking one-on-one guidance. Dream-Work may also take place in the context of a "dream group" in which participants share in a group process of projective engagement and reflection. |
Dream-Work is exploration of the unconscious mind and the symbolic language of dreams. In Transpersonal Coaching, I employ Dream-Work to help individuals connect with their inner selves and explore their spiritual and psychological needs.
Through Dream-Work, individuals can identify patterns and themes in their dreams, which can provide insights into their unconscious desires, fears, and motivations. This information can be used to support personal growth, and to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world.
Dream-Work explores spiritual themes and archetypes. Dreams and dream images are the language of the Soul. Some consider dreams to be "God's forgotten language." Seen this way, dreams provide access to a spiritual dimension of experience. Through active imagination, visualization techniques, and dialogue with the archetypal energies that appear, Dream-Work can help individuals connect with their spiritual selves and explore their relationship with the divine.

"Working with dreams in voluntary groups builds community, deep supportive intimacy, and provides a place where creative responses to life's challenges can be brought to consciousness."
