scott rensho elliottI am a listener and I am a teacher.
I have assisted many individuals cultivate a deeper, more empowering relationship to the Divine through Spiritual Direction, Meditation, & Dream-Work and have led numerous classes, workshops and retreats in Meditation, Christian Contemplative Prayer, Celtic Spirituality, and Mindfulness Practice. I feel a special calling for assisting & providing Spiritual Direction to individuals recovering from trauma or who are participating in twelve-step programs (i.e. Al-Anon, AA, etc) and I enjoy introducing Christian Communities to the practices of Meditation and Mindfulness. I consider it a great honor and privilege to serve as a guide and companion to others on their Spiritual Journey. As a healer, I LISTEN and support my clients and Spiritual Directees through their journeys of spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. I love working with clients and spiritual directees to co-create a safe supportive environment and respectful relationship that facilitates deep spiritual & emotional healing. I have assisted many people along their healing journey through ancient practices of Holy Listening, Meditation, Prayer, and Anointing. |

I have practiced meditation in both the Tibetan and Zen Buddhist traditions for more than 25 years. I am an ordained priest of the Anglican-Celtic tradition, and former prior of an ecumenical religious community.
I currently serve as a faculty member of the Haden Institute where I teach Meditation for Inner Work as part of the two-year Dream-Work Training Program.
I am a member of Spiritual Directors International and the Spiritual Care Association. I serve full-time as a Hospice Chaplain in central New Hampshire where I live and play with my partner, Amy.

I stand before you tonight to represent the people who do not count: the poor, the poets, and monks.
As long as there are people who are trying to realize the divine in themselves,
there shall be hope in the world.
