meditation for health & healing
Explore the health benefits of meditation in an easy, beginner’s meditation class. This gentle, four-session introduction to meditation focuses on the many health benefits of meditation such as decreased pain, lower blood pressure, less stress & anxiety, and better sleep. Rensho has been practicing and teaching meditation for more than 30 years and loves to make meditation easy and possible for everyone. This is a beginner’s course, no experience required; but experienced meditators are welcome to participate and revisit the basics. Supplies provided, please wear comfortable clothing that helps you sit comfortably and breathe deeply. The course content builds sequentially, plan to attend all four sessions if you can.

This series of classes invites participants into a deeper understanding of self, neighbor, & the Divine through active imagination with sacred images and comparisons of mytho-spiritual practice.

meditation with mandalasThis meditation and creative workshop explores the intersection of deep inner-work, meditation, and mandala images to give expression to the unconscious. The Meditation and Mandala workshop examines the use of mandala images of several meditative traditions as a tool for deepening self exploration.

zen for christiansThis workshop explores the intersection of traditional contemplative Christian practices (such as Centering Prayer) and Zen practice and Zen meditation. This series of experiential classes serves as an easy, welcoming introduction to Zen practice for anyone who may be curious about Zen but was too afraid to ask! Material presented is sourced from other Zen/Christian teachers such as Thomas Merton, Thich Naht Hanh, Paul Knitter, Robert Kennedy, Rubin Habito, Kim Boykin, and others.
